Air Force National-Tactical Integration WebTAS
AFNTI WebTAS is a dynamic, all-source intelligence analysis tool that expedites the production of actionable intelligence for the Warfighter. AFNTI WebTAS provides analysts around the globe with connection to multiple data sources to provide a complete all-source intelligence picture.
Maritime Enterprise Intelligence Framework
WebTAS is an operational system deployed at the major maritime intelligence centers. ISS worked closely with all of these intelligence centers to develop a standardized maritime Enterprise Intelligence Framework (EIF). This provides common underlying technology, domain, and business processes while maintaining flexibility at the individual sites.
Counter-Rocket, Artillery and Mortar
The Operations Team of C-RAM Program Directorate leveraged WebTAS to function as the C-RAM Knowledge Management System (KMS). The multifaceted requirements focused on event reporting, situation awareness, systems configuration management, system performance analysis, and developing enablers that permit the combatant commander and staff to predicatively analyze the battlefield and focus their operations in such a manner as to deny an enemy the opportunity to conduct indirect fire (IDF). During this period of performance, WebTAS was fielded at numerous C-RAM Battery locations throughout Iraq and at the program office located at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Using WebTAS, warfighters in Iraq were responsible for IDF event reporting and reporting of system performance during engagements. These reports and storyboards generated from WebTAS would then stimulate an analysis and reporting process at the program office. WebTAS is still used for reporting IDF event activity and compiling data used for Congressional reporting.
In addition to supporting the C-RAM Operations Team, WebTAS has been leveraged by the C-RAM Logistics Support Team to advance the PMO’s situational awareness of logistical activities by providing users with the ability to exploit C-RAM’s widespread, multi-source, and disparate logistical data in one consistent environment.
The charter of DIA Office of Counterintelligence (OCI) called for the creation of a counterintelligence common operational picture (CICOP) designed to support counterintelligence (CI) professionals at all echelons by providing actionable information, consolidating and sharing relevant data, synchronizing CI activities, identifying information gaps, and facilitating effects-based analysis. The ultimate goal of the CICOP is to consolidate all available intelligence, counterterrorism, law enforcement, homeland security, and open source information in support of CI operations, investigations, collection, and analysis. The CICOP has been designed through interagency collaboration efforts and provides a comprehensive view of the DoD’s global counterintelligence posture by displaying Blue Force (friendly) assets and capabilities alongside Red Force (adversarial) information.
