ISS is a company that cares deeply about data and, most importantly, about empowering our customers by delivering the right data at the right time. The amount of data being generated and shared is growing exponentially, producing information overload and cluttering vision, mission or enterprise goals. ISS turns this information overload into information advantage. With a proven track record in innovation and a keen understanding of our customers’ needs, we are able support their mission today while effectively anticipating their needs in the future.

We develop sophisticated data visualization, event analysis, pattern detection, mission planning, and mobile software using net-centric and enterprise architectures. Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, we support a diverse customer base with locations from Afghanistan to Hawaii. ISS provides solutions based on the latest advances in open software design and integration. We employ highly trained employees who understand our customers’ missions, and a business environment focuses on sharing lessons learned and best practices throughout our organization.

ISS Fact Sheet

Our business model focuses on maximizing our customer’s technological investments, while retaining the flexibility and discipline to develop new solutions for evolving requirements. For example, the IT environment of many of our customers includes custom built systems, commercially available capabilities, and consulting services. The business model of many of our competitors includes a costly overhaul or a completely new system that negates the customer’s investment – both in time and resources. At ISS, we meet the unique requirements of our customers by offering a full-spectrum solution without the weaknesses that come from a single business model focus. Our products are built to integrate with low-cost, license-free, open or non-proprietary solutions especially for our Government customers. Our reusable solutions leverage the large investments made by all of our customers while quickly fulfilling the specific needs of individual organizations. This approach also significantly improves the time to deliver. Additional custom capabilities can also be added resulting in a tailored solution at a fraction of the cost.
Our people differentiate ISS. We employ experienced subject matter experts in diverse fields such as Intelligence, C4ISR, Cyber, Cloud Computing, Advanced Analytics, Data Fusion, Homeland Security, Public Safety, Space Command and Control, and many others. Integral to our Agile software development methodology, ISS couples this domain expertise with industry-leading software developers thus providing optimal synergy between operational requirements and state-of-the-art technology.
ISS employs a diverse and highly experienced staff specializing in software development and systems analysis. Many of our personnel leverage more than 20 years experience providing services to the DoD. Additionally over 90% of the highly skilled engineers and technicians hold DoD security clearances and can immediately support secure customer environments. ISS employees are available to travel to your organization to provide installation and training support for our products. Additionally ISS provides full time, on-site staff at government organizations here in the US as well as in Iraq, Afghanistan, Djibouti, and many other countries.
