Stability Ops

The US and its international partners respond to numerous instances of instability on an annual basis, some of these operations are short-term while others go on for years and are still ongoing. Each type of activity within the scope of Stability Operations has its own unique operational and political considerations. Regardless of the activity however, the common goal of all Stability Operations is to transition the responsibility for maintaining stability from external entities to local or national ones.

The effective management of and the ability to share information can significantly increase the success of Stability Operations. The challenge is to provide a solution which addresses not only the information-sharing sensitivities and concerns of multiple communities but the unique environmental conditions that are present within each instance of instability.

With its experience in supporting Stability Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, ISS understands these challenges and is well-poised to provide information management solutions for organizations involved with activities such as: Establishing and Maintaining Security, Nation Building, Transition of Governance, Disaster Management, and Humanitarian Assistance.
