ISS supports several research agencies and internal constituents with technology invented within its Advanced Technology Division. Whether it be supporting the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) with solutions for optimizing air operations or helping to transition their most cutting edge technologies to end users around the world, ISS is involved in all phases of the research and development lifecycle.

The ISS advanced technology team specializes in defining the state of the art in machine learning and complex event processing (CEP). Research into these areas is leading the Air Force and other agencies in their pursuit of automation in mission critical applications for our nation‚ defense.
