The world has changed and the defense of our nation's homeland against all threats including the maritime and coastal defense domain has taken on new meaning. The increased threat of potential adversaries attacking us via our ports has refocused technology and research efforts. ISS has deployed large scale software solutions to address the key tenets of maritime domain awareness and is proudly involved with protecting our nations ports each and every day.

ISS has extensive experience in various aspects of the Maritime domain ranging from basic research into vessel pattern analysis to day to day operations of Maritime Intelligence Fusion Centers for the United States Coast Guard.  Our engineers provide cutting edge research into patterns of normalcy and abnormal vessel behavioral patterns to identify potential vessels of interest for further investigation.  In support of the Coast Guard, ISS has provided a great deal of assistance in the design and stand up of the Maritime Intelligence Fusion Centers on both coasts of the United States to assist the USCG in identifying vessels of interest for potential interdiction.

ISS technology provides technologies ranging from entire infrastructures for Maritime Domain Awareness case management, to Common Intelligence Pictures based on the latest in web-based technologies to provide operators and analysts a consolidated maritime awareness picture.  ISS combines the latest in software technologies with on-site analyst/engineers.  This unique mix allows ISS to leverage considerable domain knowledge and technology to deliver the optimal solutions for our customers.

In addition to our existing programs, ISS has the ability to leverage our considerable Command and Control tools to potentially deliver Maritime Operations Center capabilities that are both extensible and economical.  ISS focuses on technology re-use for our customer base to deliver maximum value for their investment.
