Supporting Marine Intelligence Fusion Centers Worldwide

The Enterprise Intelligence Framework (EIF) was designed to support the United States Coast Guard in its mission to protect America’s coastal borders. The EIF is based on ISS’ WebTAS solution, a flexible data integration, analysis, and reporting platform sponsored by Air Force Research Labs. Since the EIF solution leverages widely-fielded WebTAS functionality, it can be deployed rapidly and is extremely cost-effective due to the nature of the pervasive GOTS licensing model: http://www.issinc.com/company/about.html.

EIF’s rich feature set allows users to gain critical situational awareness by providing an integrated view of data gathered from several disparate intelligence sources. This fusion of intelligence data displays information pertaining to air, marine, facilities, homeland security related threats, ISR data, media alerts and other pertinent information. Analysts are then able to view intelligence data from a global perspective to ensure a complete and optimized Common Intelligence Picture as shown in Figure 1. USCG EIF currently supports MIFCLANT, MIFCPAC, ICC and OPCOM.
