NTI WebTAS
The National-to-Tactical Integration Web-based Temporal Analysis System (NTI WebTAS) is quickly becoming a cornerstone of the Air Force’s effort to empower analysts with tools that allow them to quickly make sense of large volumes of disparate data and provide value added intelligence to both collectors and warfighters. Tactical operators depend heavily on NTI analysts at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) and the 480th ISR Wing's Digital Ground Stations for delivering timely, relevant analysis .
NTI WebTAS is built on a net-centric, system of systems architecture that is capable of ingesting virtually any database or service with little or no additional development. What this means for the user is that this capability remains relevant regardless of changes in mission, priorities or sources of information.
NTI analysts are often the first responders for tactical units who need access to timely, relevant analysis in a matter of minutes or hours, not days or weeks. The work done by the NTI community has an immediate and significant impact on operations. It fuses, manages and helps prioritize collection requirements streaming in from the field in addition to providing improved situational awareness and quick turnarounds on requests for information. In a fluid, fast-paced environment like this, analysts don't have time to cobble together a complete picture using multiple tools. NTI WebTAS fuses all of the data NTI analysts depend on into a single dynamic picture so they can spend less time assembling data and more time analyzing it.
NTI WebTAS doesn't stop there. It's a complete end-to-end solution for the analyst that also helps them juggle the dozens of conversations they typically monitor and expedites the creation of the products created as a result of this short suspense analysis. The product's Chat Dashboard delivers a multi-connection, multi-protocol chat solution that keeps users apprised of new posts and facilitates the rapid relay of information between conversations. Analysts can even share their intelligence picture with their peers whether they're on another network, at another location or right down the hall. It's all packaged in an intuitive drag-and-drop interface that makes collaborating easier than ever before.
NTI WebTAS includes a product generation framework that automatically assembles and populates much of the information needed by the analysts and allows them to publish the final product directly to Sharepoint. These products are stored in their traditional format but are also databased, enabling analysts to quickly pull any reports relevant to the RFI they're currently working. No more digging through inboxes and file systems skimming reports for connections. NTI WebTAS allows the user to search for reports by date, keyword or geographic area.
NTI WebTAS is currently fielded at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center in Dayton, OH in addition to several DGSs in the United States and overseas.
