COUNSEL

COUNSEL is a data mining and modeling application that allows users to discover complex activity models centered on events of interest. With COUNSEL, users can discover and evolve human readable and editable behavior models that can then be input into the SEER system for real time fuzzy complex event processing. By leveraging semantic web technologies for superior knowledge management, the COUNSEL environment also offers enhanced Human Computer Interaction (HCI) for a more effective user experience. To further improve user support and model precision during the creation process, COUNSEL includes the discovery of precursor “indicator events” and uncertainty representation, while providing explicit support of domains with relatively few exemplars.
