Business Model
The Federal Government IT space is comprised of organizations that specialize in custom built systems, commercially available capabilities and consulting/services. Each of these aspects is very valuable but have significant weaknesses. At ISS, we take the best of each of these business models and filter as much of the bad portions as possible.
Over the years, this has allowed ISS to provide low cost, license free and non-proprietary solutions to many government customers. These reusable solutions leverages the large investments made by these many customers while allowing individual organizations to get their specific needs as soon as possible.
This blended business model gives our customer 80% solutions immediately. Additional capabilities can be added to provide a system that appears very tailored for pennies on the dollar. The long term costs of the system are shared by a large community with recurring licensing costs. This is all accomplished in an open and non-proprietary manner.

Clearly, the people make all the difference at ISS. The team employs seasoned subject matter experts in diverse fields, including Intelligence Systems, C4ISR, Advanced Technology, Fusion Programs, Maritime Security and Space Analysis. Government Contracting
ISS has a diverse and highly experienced staff. Many of the people on staff have more than 20 years experience providing services to the DoD, specializing in software development and systems analysis. Additionally over 90% of the highly skilled engineers and technicians hold DoD security clearances and can immediately gain access to many of our existing and prospective customer environments.
On-Site Support & Training
ISS has teams available to travel to your organization to provide installation and training support for our products. Technical and engineering support for development efforts are also available.
Additionally ISS employs many full time on-site employees at dozens of government organizations here in the states as well as in Iraq, Afghanistan, Djibouti, and others.
